Fire Suppression
AF11E is a non-toxic, environmentally friendly fire suppression agent. It is the only 1 for 1 drop in replacement for Halon 1301. AF11E is far more efficient as a suppression agent than other toxic, environmentally damaging agents (compare AF11e to other fire suppressants). Innovative Green Solutions performed successful demonstrations of a line of Anti-Fire products at Fort Eustis, a US Army military base in Virginia. On July 28, 2009, demonstrations were witnessed by military personnel from both the US Army and the US Coast Guard. The demonstrations were moderated by Mark Henderson (Colonel, USA, retired), and performed by Mr. David Williams of Hazmat4U, a Canadian firm. Hartindo AF11E was demonstrated as a Halon replacement. A diesel tray fire was ignited in a closed chamber and then extinguished simulating a total flooding system using one half of the amount of extinguishing agent that would be required if FM200 had been the extinguishing agent.
