Fire Prevention
AF21 is a non-toxic, environmentally friendly water-based agent which is easily absorbed by porous materials. Spraying AF21 on textiles, wood, paper, leather, and any other porous material will render the material non-flammable. By pre-treating furniture, window treatments, carpet, wood paneling, trim, accoustical tiles and other furnishings and materials, a home or business can be made rendered flame proof. This will keep fires from starting or cause them to burn out quickly.
The treated material becomes non-flammable. Testing has shown repeatedly how wood boards, clothing and even paper products can withstand a 3500 F flame without catching fire. This is stark contrast to conventional fire retardants which will eventually burn. A material treated with AF21, even a highly flammable material, will not burn. The material turns black as it carbonizes, and the flame just bounces off.
