AF31 is a non-toxic, environmentally friendly water-based agent. AF31 is an extremely effective extinguishing agent and as a pretreatment to create fire breaks. Because AF31 coats the materials it comes in contact with, it will prevent re-ignition. This is especially beneficial when fighting extremely challenging fires, such as tire fires. Unlike other agents, AF31 will put out the fire quickly and will prevent the hot tires and melted rubber from catching fire again.
