IGS Infrastructure Products: IGS markets several key infrastructure products, including bridges, railroad ties, retaining walls, marine pilings, and bulkheads, all made from a unique, patented, non-toxic plastic composite.  

These composites are as strong as steel, won’t rust or corrode, are impervious to insects and cleanly use and reduce the 83% of plastics that end up in landfills.   Better yet, these solutions, when properly designed, cost less and last longer than traditional wood, steel or concrete infrastructures. Developed over the past 10 years by scientists from Rutgers University and tested with the help of the US Army Corps of Engineers Construction & Engineering Research Laboratories, they are field-tested and shovel ready for today’s critical infrastructure needs.

IGS Fire Inhibitors make more expensive Fire “Retardants” obsolete.  This clear distinction—Inhibitor vs. Retardant—exceeds current industry standards, and leads directly to improved performance that saves lives, money and property.

• AF21 Fire Prevention: AF21 can be safely applied to clothing, bedding, furniture and building materials, creating an impenetrable shield to fire.

• AF31 Fire Fighting: AF31 can be used to extinguish virtually any type of fire including gas and oil fires, grease fires, home fires and even forest fires.

• AF11E Fire Suppression: AF11E can be used safely in data centers, ships, planes, tanks, Humvees, police cars, or anyplace where the threat of fire is devastating.  This material not only outperforms existing products, it is non-toxic, and will not cause damage after use.
